A main focus of our mission is to help grow our burgeoning "creative economy". As a non-profit, imaginatively re-purposing an older industrial space, our model allows us to create greater financial opportunities for creatives of all types ... to make sure that the ladder reaches all the way to the ground. And we want to make the title "working artist" a reality instead of a dream.
To that end, our rental fees for non-members are incredibly reasonable (and mostly compensatory for the cost of services provided), and well below comparable spaces available in Tallahassee. We have full amenities and accommodations, a huge space, rooms of multiple sizes, and perhaps the most central location in the city.
What does that mean? If a band, for example, wanted to throw a big event, for which they intend to charge a cover, a low percentage of that "door" would easily cover the rental fee. That can be a game changer. Because the more people they can bring, the more they can keep from the door. And that can translate into a more livable wage for aspiring musicians.

With the variety of events that we have, hope to, and are capable of hosting, it would be nearly impossible to create a one-size-fits-all pricing formula. And doing that would hinder our ability to support the creative community.
What you need of the space, from us, for how long, and indeed, the purpose of your project, are all factors. And we work hard to make sure projects can find a home with us. Every rental is unique in many ways.
The best way to find out is to just get in touch and come by for a tour, a chat, and a brainstorming. So please do!
